…After I left the house of the straw bearer/lightbulb-moment bringer. I made my way to the Sisterlocks site, called the home office and requested a consultant. They gave me Tressie Samuels number and I made an appointment immedately.

It was like night and day, literally.

Tressie’s ‘Salon’ was also out of her home, however she had taken the time to build out her garage (she has since moved) into an extreme salon makeover. Her decor’ was all white, including her single salon chair. Single because she only took one client at a time.

It was quiet, peaceable, and easily intreated. A nice selection of music played softly in the background as she took me thru a bonafied consultation.

She looked at my hair type and educated me on SisterLocks. I also watched a video of the process and the phases my hair would go thru. She placed several in my hair and instructed me to come back in a few weeks to see how my hair took to the locks.

Well, as you can guess, they took very well. I went back for the full service and the rest is history!
